Day 1: Arrival in Uganda

Welcome to the Pearl of Africa. You will be picked from Entebbe Airport  by our professional guide and transferred to your hotel for an overnight..

Day 2: Drive to Murchison Falls National Park

Drive to Murchison Falls National Park that lies at the northern end of the Albertine Rift Valley, where the sweeping Bunyoro escarpment tumbles into vast, palm-dotted savanna. First gazetted as a game reserve in 1926, it is Uganda’s largest and oldest conservation area, hosting 76 species of mammals and 451 birds.

En-route Murchison, you will have a chance to stop for lunch, and then proceed to the park as you spot some animals like baboons, black and white colobus monkey, Jackson heartbeast in antelope family and many others. Relax at the guest house in the evening or visit the busy village with lots of crafts.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive & Afternoon Boat Safari to the Water Falls

Prepare after breakfast to cross the ferry for a morning game drive with your guide who will help you spot the plethora of wildlife found in the Park. You will be able to spot lots of  African animal wildlife for example: elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, different species of antelope and many tropical birds. Thereafter, you will drive back to the hotel for lunch.
After a sumptuous meal, get ready to take a trip to the water fall at 2pm.  On your way to the water fall you can hike for 45 minutes to Visit the Top of the falls. This is an experience that brings all the senses into play: watch waves of white water tumble hypnotically through this six-meter chasm, listen to the roar, taste the spray on your face and feel the rock shake beneath your feet. Sheer sensory overload! Don’t dare miss this!!

Day 4: Morning Game Drive, Transfer to Lira

Have your packed breakfast and prepare to cross the Victoria Nile for morning safari drive to spot different species of animals. You will proceed with a morning game drive and your guide will help you spot a variety of wildlife found in the Park. You will be able to spot a variety of African Wildlife.

After lunch, we drive to Lira, a journey that will take not less than 4 hours. Here we shall visit local food markets, crafts shops and family friends. Experience  Uganda among the LRA War conflict survivors guided by Florence Angom. She will give you a presentation about Upendo organization and how people benefit from it through craft making!

Day 5: Cultural Dance

Here you have an opportunity to share your experience with war conflict survivors from northern Uganda after visiting the 2002 Barlonyo massacre grounds.

After a sad note, enjoy the traditional dance group with local lunch and also make a basket or mat for yourself before saying goodbye to Uganda friends. Drive back to the hotel after the function for relaxation.

Day 6: Drive to Kidepo National Park & Afternoon Safari

You will go for the game drive in the afternoon depending on the time schedules. Game drives can be done along Narus Valley as the park’s Wildlife gathers here much of the year.

Day 7: Nature walk &  Afternoon Safari

 Nature walks can be done at anytime of the day and visitors will be able to view different species of animals

Day 8: Transfer to Kotido and visit the Manyatta

The Afternoon Karamoja experience with Eric, a local guide is exciting.

Day 9: Drive to Sipi Falls

 We drive towards Sipi overlooking Soroti and grab a panoramic view over Mount Elgon (4300m) by early afternoon. En-route Mbale, we drive up the mountain road and get a good impression of the plateaus, which is the setting for the three impressive Sipi waterfalls. We are housed in the exciting Lacam lodge with a fabulous view. In the afternoon we can relax and have time to enjoy a drink and the view of the sunset. Sleep at Lacam Lodge for 2 nights.

Day 10: Hike & Coffee Tour & Drive to Mbale

After your relaxed morning, we start our hike. You can choose between a short or longer route to the water fall through fruit plantations and villages. One water fall is perfect for taking a quick shower and you can even enjoy a cold swim. Another hike for seven hours takes five waterfalls, a cave and most beautiful scenery passing through plenty of villages and fruit and coffee plantations. Whichever hike we choose today, will be a beautiful day in paradise.

Visitors participate in the coffee making experience in the nearby village and later have their lunch served in the rural setup.

Drive to Mbale after lunch for an overnight and have dinner with Stephen’s relatives.

Day 11:  Drive to Jinja & Do Boat Safari on the Nile

After a relaxed breakfast, drive towards Jinja, a journey that takes about 5 hours and have lunch in town. We shall also visit craft shops which are adjacent the restaurant. After lunch, you will check in at the Source of the Nile and take boat trip on the source of the Nile afterwards. You will have dinner in one of the best restaurants called 2 FRIENDS which is a walking distance from guest house. Here, you can relax at the pool! Please, rafting is optional

Day 12: Drive to Kampala, Take a City Tour

After breakfast, we drive from Jinja to Kampala. We shall have a city tour to visit the local food and crafts markets, Kasubi tombs where they bury the Buganda Kings. Amazing tales will be told about the monarchies in Uganda. We shall also visitGadaffi Mosque, the second largest mosque in Africa and later have lunch in Kampala.

Day 13: Drive to the Equator for the Water Experience

We start our tour to the equator. Little known but geographically crucial, the Uganda equator offers its unique services to local and international visitors to a on-of -a kind adventure of their lifetime!  The water experiment is thrilling. Witness the exotic geographic so surprise of the water experiment. See how forces react at 0 degrees, towards the north pole and south pole.  Another reason that makes the equator a  worthwhile stop is the great shopping bargains. The point has got several craft shops and art galleries run by individuals and organizations. These craft stalls sell souvenirs and handmade products while some with marks talking about the Equator. It will not be inconveniencing if you bought a T-shirt with words ‘I crossed the Uganda Equator’ Continue with your journey to Entebbe.

Day 14: You will have Great experience in Entebbe

Here, you can choose from optional activities which include visiting places like Ngamba Island to view orphaned rescued Chimpanzees for the day trips, Uganda Wildlife Educational centre, Botanical gardens and many others.  Thereafter, we shall  transfer you to the Airport for your flight.
